Kamili Moreland, Chief People Officer & General Counsel
Kamili joined AAA Northern California, Nevada & Utah (NCNU) in June 2011 and brings more than 21 years of legal experience.
In her role as the Chief People Officer & General Counsel, Kamili is responsible for managing litigation and compliance issues and overseeing the club’s Human Resources and Learning & Development. She is also charged with supporting and advising AAA NCNU Board of Directors and Executive management on matters of corporate governance as our General Counsel and Corporate Secretary.
Before joining AAA, she was a partner at Seyfarth Shaw where she defended employers and individual employees in single and multi-plaintiff harassment, discrimination, wrongful termination, wage and hour, and contract litigation brought under Federal and California state law.
Kamili received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia, and her Juris Doctorate from the University of San Francisco. She previously served on the Boards of the Bar Association of San Francisco Foundation and the Girls’ After School Academy (GASA), an afterschool program designed to support underprivileged girls.
